About us
We are a neurosurgical practice focused on helping children with brain and spinal cord disorders. Our practice is headed by Renatta J. Osterdock, MD and we are committed to the treatment of babies, children, and adolescents with neurosurgical disorders. We perform surgeries and inpatient services at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children which allows us to provide the highest level of care in an environment created just for kids.We use state of the art surgical techniques and equipment including the latest minimally invasive, endoscopic, and stereotactic technology to treat craniosynostosis, spinal disorders, congenital disorders, Chiari malformation, functional disorders, spasticity, epliepsy, and hydrocephalus. Our focus is on integrating care for complex disorders with multiple specialties as needed. We utilize multi-disciplinary team centers to ensure thorough evaluation and treatment of children with craniosynostosis, spina bifida and spinal disorders, spasticity and Chiari malformations.
Occasionally, adults can benefit from certain techniques and treatments that are unique to our practice and we can arrange to evaluate adult patients when appropriate.
Our focus at Arete Neurosurgical is your child…not research or teaching….We strive to provide the best possible treatment and outcome as well as to make the experience as comfortable as possible. All evaluations and surgical procedures are performed only by our attending neurosurgeon. We do have research projects that are continuing to advance our understanding and treatment of children but our focus is on your child first.
Many of our patients travel from quite a distance and we are here to help make the journey easier.
